    We have an innovative and experienced team, with a strong morale. This is a ­­­­­casual position to START, with ­­­­­­permanent part-time available to the right candidate.

To be successful you MUST possess a strong work ethic, be reliable and punctual and be able to pass drug testing.     The Lead Business Administrator position is accountable for critical business, human resources and management support to the Managing Director, supervisors, and staff.

    This is a broad and diverse role, including, but not limited to:

    Core responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain information and office systems to support business and operations
    • Oversee finances, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable and coordination with our external accounting firm
    • Preparation of regular reports and financial information for management.
    • Administration of business registrations, memberships and licencing
    • Further develop administrative policies and procedures, in line with DMIRS and client expectations/ recommendations
    • Logistics and operations support
    • Office Management and day to day operations of the administrative team
    • Compliance records and archiving
    • Integrated management system records and registers
    • Oversee insurance matters and processes
    • Human Resources and employment systems, including inductions
    • Occupational Health and Safety Management

     

    Requirements

    • Integrity and honesty
    • Ability to work with a range of people, independently and within a team environment
    • Minimum TAFE level qualifications and experience in finance, human resources and administration related disciplines
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise, with efficient time management skills
    • Strong computer literacy, experience with Apple, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), Xero (and/or other accounting software)

    Assistant Workshop (& Office) Manager

    Syncro Engineering specialises in all aspects of engineering and steel fabrication on machinery, fixed plant and equipment. We provide a guaranteed service for many industries in the South West of W.A., including mining, shipping, logging and farming.

    We have an innovative and experienced team, with a strong morale, in need of an assistant leader. This is a casual position to START, with permanent full time available to the right candidate.

    We offer attractive rates, with a workplace agreement. A manual HR drivers’ licence and reliable transport is required, along with tickets for operating a forklift and elevated working platform. To be successful you MUST possess a strong work ethic, be reliable and punctual and be able to pass drug testing. Timeliness and critical thinking skills are necessary, with the ability to work autonomously, and in a team environment. Strong computer skills are required, including the use of Apple and Microsoft applications. Trade experience is preferred and highly desirable.

    The Assistant Workshop Manager will be working to support management and trade staff in completing manufacturing, time critical jobs and callouts. The ideal candidate will need to maintain accurate records in simple and complex IT systems, and must possess the ability to learn to operate new machines, as well as moderate skills in using hand/power tools and measuring tools.

    This role includes, but is not limited to:

     

    • Quality assurance, from commencement to completion of works
    • Various inventory management and record keeping
    • Measuring and project design assistance
    • Maintaining records and databases
    • Diligent compliance with all WHS requirements
    • Operation of machine tools (incl. CNC Plasma Cutter)
    • Ensuring that all works meet specification
    • Managing and maintaining stock; incl. collection, sign out and tracking of consumables
    • General workshop duties
